Development Briefs
Development briefs are additional planning guidance for specific larger, complex or sensitive sites. They show which policies apply to the site and contain detailed guidance on things like infrastructure requirements, access, design, landscape and open space.
Article 4 Directions
An Article 4 Direction is part of planning legislation that can be used to remove permitted development rights, for example changes of use from an area or a particular property, in certain limited situations where it is necessary to protect local amenity or the well being of an area.
