Regulation 20 - Made Plan
Cheshire West and Chester Council decided to make the Moulton Neighbourhood Plan under Section 38A(4) of the Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004 on 5 July 2019.
The Moulton Neighbourhood Plan now forms part of the Development Plan for Cheshire West and Chester and will be taken into account in local planning decisions. The Council has published a decision statement which sets out the decision to make the neighbourhood plan and the reasons for doing so.

Regulation 19 - Referendum
The Moulton NP referendum took place on 4 July 2019, with 90.7% of voters saying "yes" to the neighbourhood plan.
Regulations 17 and 18 - Examination
Cheshire West and Chester Council appointed Mr Robert Yuille MSc DipTP MRTPI as independent examiner of the Moulton Neighbourhood Plan. His report was published on 14 March 2019.

During the course of the examination, Mr Yuille requested some additional information from the Council and the Qualifying Body. He also invited Civitas Planning to respond to Question 11 of his 3 December 2018 letter, and accepted a letter from Gowling WLG. Regulation 14 - Pre-submission consultation
The Moulton NP regulation 14 consultation took place between 4 December 2017 and 11 February 2018.
Regulations 5, 6 and 7 - Neighbourhood Area designation
Moulton Parish Council submitted a neighbourhood area application to the Council and the neighbourhood area was designated on 6 March 2013.
