Geography

Cheshire West and Chester is a unitary authority located in North West England. The borough covers 941 km² making it a considerably large geographical area. It is bounded to the north by Wirral, Liverpool, Halton and Warrington, to the east by Cheshire East, to the southeast by Shropshire, and to the west by Flintshire and Wrexham in Wales. 

The borough is home to the historic city of Chester as well as other towns such as Ellesmere Port, Winsford and Northwich. There are also smaller market towns such as Neston, Frodsham and Helsby.
