Regulation 20 - Made Plan
Cheshire West and Chester Council decided to make the Winsford Neighbourhood Plan under Section 38A(4) of the Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004 on 19 November 2014.
The Winsford Neighbourhood Plan now forms part of the Development Plan for Cheshire West and Chester and will be taken into account in local planning decisions. The Council has published a decision statement which sets out the decision to make the neighbourhood plan and the reasons for doing so.
Regulation 19 - Referendum
The Winsford NP referendum took place on 23 October 2014, with 69% of voters saying "yes" to the neighbourhood plan.
Regulations 17 and 18 - Examination
Cheshire West and Chester Council appointed Dr Charles Mynors as independent examiner of the Winsford Neighbourhood Plan. Dr Mynors decided to hold a public hearing which was held over two days on 15 January and Friday 30 May 2014. His report was published on 30 July 2014.
Regulation 15 and 16 - Publicity stage consultation and SEA + HRA screening determination
The Winsford NP regulation 16 consultation ran from 15 July to 16 September 2013.

Regulation 14 - Pre-submission consultation
The Winsford NP regulation 14 consultation took place between 26 November 2012 and 21 January 2013.
Regulations 5, 6 and 7 - Neighbourhood Area designation
Winsford Town Council submitted a neighbourhood area application to the Council and the neighbourhood area was designated on 12 December 2012.
